Emily Kam Kngwarrey Exhibition

I saw the most wonderful exhibition of aboriginal art by Emily Kam Kngwarrey.

Paintings and batik – the paintings touched a cord: Layered, intuitive, spontaneous, visceral, vibrant, touching my spirit – all feelings they invoked in me.

The paintings are visceral. They bypass your head completely and hit you somewhere else. The colours are incredible and there’s a strange energy that comes straight off the canvas.

Already inspiring my thinking…

It definitely worth a visit.!!
