There are five lessons – one opening every Friday for five weeks.

The lessons comprise of a series of activities, with step-by-step videos and inline text and images, where I take you through the process of researching and making your dancer.

Each video has an downloadable, illustrated pdf instruction worksheet for you to print and keep.

There is an online Discussion Forum where you can chat to me and fellow students – post comments and images.

I also run weekly Zoom meetings online where you will meet me and your fellow felters.

I will respond to all comments and questions during the length of the course and while the online classroom is open – I am mindful that there is a lot of work to do and it may take some of you a little longer than the 5 weeks.  As you will have full access to the videos, online class materials and Discussion Forum for at least 6 months, there will be plenty to time to work at your own pace.

What my students say…..

‘ Thank you soooo much for providing this wonderful opportunity to follow your tutorial!!! Your videos, hand outs, and personal connection has been outstanding! ‘ Tina

‘Molly – thank you for such a wonderful course. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning along with you and the other class participants. I greatly appreciated the research and design aspects of this course – it goes beyond the making of just one object , into how to think about gathering inspiration, researching , planning through drawing and observation and using wool fibres as a sculpture. You have provided quick responses to questions , positive feedback and encouragement as well as added additional material….’ Cheryl

‘I took a course with you and it was absolutely fantastic to learn these unique new techniques. I am a wet felter and the way that Molly has innovated wet felting techniques to create more sculptural forms (rather than using needle felting) is really interesting and opened up a whole new arena of possibilities for me for creating strong shapes – this is so innovative and exciting, thank you so much for sharing your way of working’   Mia Hartgroves

‘I loved the workshop. I am so glad we had the time to start to get to know each other. You have totally inspired me.’  Amy

‘Overall, I think the whole package so far is high quality, organized, easy to follow and maneuver around.  The videos are very clear. I find I can speed them up, slow them down or pause as needed to catch up.  Well done!!!’  Beth

  1. I love your work Molly and would love to take one of your classes but am not free this early in 2022. Are you likely to run a class later this year or early 2023? Will this be possible? Regards, Judy (Melbourne, Victoria.)

    1. Hi Molly,
I would love to do an online course on June/July time as I am busy during this recent course you are presenting this month.
Please can you let me know as soon as you can register?
      Thank you
      Lynne. 👌🏼

    1. Hi Kimberley,
Thank you so much for your interest in the Contemporary Dancer workshop.
I have taught one student who had never felted before and she was very successful.
I will send you an invitation to my short ‘How to make felt – a beginners workshop’ – follow the link and sign into Ruzuku to open the workshop. Have a look through it – if you have some wool fibres I suggest you make a piece of felt to see how it all works. The process is not difficult and a lot of fun.
With regards this CD workshop – I would have a go! If it doesn’t work for you, within the 5 weeks, I can reimburse you the fee.
I am self taught and you really can’t go wring with this medium and not having experience may serve you!
I’d love to know why the workshop interests you. Are you a stitcher and fibre artist? – or 3D?
Look out for an email from me with the workshop invitation – hope you enjoy it.
      Best wishes,

  2. Hi I am interested in the next contemporary dance workshop. Could you please notify me when it’s available.
