‘Everyday Encounters’ at The William Morris Gallery 2015
Molly Williams MSDC
Digitally printed acrylic chair and silk throw: Molly chose the theme of supermarkets and shopping malls, a feature of 21st century consumer society, to develop a decorative design. She has used modern digital technology to print the design onto two contrasting materials – a traditional woven silk throw and a contemporary clear acrylic chair. She collaborated with Paul Turner at Clearly Modern to make the chair.
